Weekly Listener Meeting
We had our first weekly listener meeting on Tuesday, March the 1st. The meeting was a success. Beth Aich, the author of “We’re Not All Egomaniacs” spoke for about thirty minutes, and then we opened the floor for comments and questions. There were 27 people at that first meeting. This Tuesday, March the 8th, we will be meeting again and our speaker will be Tara Boyce from the podcast “Addicted to Recovery: The Interactive Memoir”. Tara was my guest on episode 243. She will speak for thirty minutes, and then we’ll open up for comments and questions. The meeting will last for 90 minutes.
Livestreams Return On March 12, 2022
We will begin livestreaming on YouTube and Facebook this Saturday, March the 12th at 11:00 am Central Time. My co-host for the livestream will be Mary C. and the first episode will be about getting to know her through her story of recovery. The livestreams are very much a participatory event. You can comment in the live chat on Facebook and YouTube or call in to our toll-free number.
Join Our Private Facebook Group
The Facebook group is doing well. The purpose of the group is to help with building a recovery community around the podcast. It’s a great group, so if you are looking for some likeminded secular people in recovery, this may be a good group for you.
