Would you like to appear as a guest on the Beyond Belief Sobriety Podcast? If you aren’t familiar with Beyond Belief Sobriety, we are a community of agnostics, atheists, freethinkers, and others who have found secular paths to recovery from addiction.
Most of our topics involve the sharing of personal recovery stories of secular people. Other popular subjects include talking about your support group, promoting a conference or meeting, discussing a book you wrote, or your own recovery podcast. We also welcome experts in the field of addiction who can talk about the latest science in addiction treatment.
Please use the form below to tell me a little about yourself and what you would like to talk about. When recording online, we will be using a web-based app similar to Zoom called StreamYard. It is super easy to use and it doesn’t matter if you are using a pc, mac, or mobile device. I recommend that you use an external microphone or headset when recording rather than the mic that is built into your pc or mac. If that’s not possible, it’s okay, but what is most important is that you wear headphones or earbuds to prevent any echo and feedback when we record. We can also record the podcast by phone, whether you are calling from a landline or a cellphone. Often a phone will provide excellent audio quality.
After receiving your application, I will contact you and if you are a good fit, we will schedule a time and date for the recording.
